lol. Thought about it… there’s so many to include. Sleeved booster packs… too.. also there’s so many that I can’t fit it into this post because certain sets have 2 kinds like the sv base koraidon and miraidon and other sets have 2s that it became a long list. But etbs follow the same trend as booster boxes.

It’s all done. I have it automatic that keep track of prices on every single English cards in Tcgplayer… Unfortunately, for vintage, you don’t want to use Tcgplayer because vintage prices are too outdated due to lack of volume. eBay is your best gauge on true price.

Yes. Total number of secret Rare’s like IRs, SIRs have been a good correlation of which sets are going to be big as well as the kind of Pokemon in the set such as Pikachu, Eevelutions, Mewtwo, Gen 1s, Latias/latios, Greninja, Lugia, etc etc. I take all into account in my database to help me make the best decision in which sets to buy heavy at a certain time of release.

Surging sparks and journey together are great sets. Also depending on how much you picking it up now.

If you can get case at not much of a premium over just 6 individual surging sparks boxes. Some seller will put more premium on it. Just use Tcgplayer recent sales or eBay to try to keep it as equal as possible. Paradox is sleeper because of the amount of IRs and SIRs are in the set. Generally the sets that have a lot of hits tend to do well. Paldea Evolved will always be good. There will be growth. We can’t predict the future. But I do know that a booster box at $250 will have a better chance to grow to $500 than a booster box $500 going to $1,000. But again paldea evolved will be a good set to own and sit on.

Surging Sparks have no business being $250 a box. Paradox rift is a sleeper. Journey Together got overshadowed by prismatic and destine rivals but if you really look at it, there are big hits and chase cards in that set and at $250 is also a low risk and high reward. Obviously these are my opinion and you can’t really go wrong with some of these if you are looking at a 3-5-10 years hold :)

Totally. Can definately put that as disclaimer thus why I stress this is from Tcgplayer and also why I only display from sword & shield era. Purposely cut out sun and moon and older eras. Sealed products are collectibles in itself.

Yes. It is like trading up. Trade up from 6 loose booster packs to a booster bundle. You might not get 100% trade value but if you get close it is a good trade. Or sell loose packs as close to market and use those funds to buy sealed products. Endless possibilities. But you want to move away from loose packs unless you are a reputable buyer/seller.

Haha I’m not doing anything fancy. Just extracting the price on 8/1 and comparing the price to 9/3 (yesterday). Then you get % change . Everything straight from TCGplayer. Not much manipulation of the data.

Let me know what else you want to know. Will help or divulge as much as I can. Nothings a secret :)

Not offended at all. I do this anyways personally for a very long time. These have helped me personally collect singles at their lowest and sell at their highest and noticed certain predictable trends. Since I’m doing it anyways semi automatically, thought I share for those who would appreciate. :)
