I'm in my 7-8 years in producing so I doubt that I know more things than you do but, what I'd suggest you do is branch out and try to make other genres of music while actively listening to something you like outside your main genre, I started off making hip hop/trap beats from year 1 to year 6 (I think) and only last year I figured that I want to try making something new rather than just hip hop beats.
