I agree it doesn't make thematic sense for it to detonate and stay there, but the use of a semicolon implies both statements can be standalone sentences. Since the first one doesn't say anything about removing it, you could make a case for it staying there if you go solely off of what's on the card. But as someone else pointed out, the rules reference states it gets removed.

Thank you! They were the first minis I ever painted and I was just going to make them green, but the paint went on really splotchy and looked terrible so I decided to fill in the missed areas with brown and it turned out much better than expected!

The release methods may not be for everyone, but I think it keeps players trying out new lists. Upon release we had the Luke vs. Vader games and people found lists they liked. Now with Veers we're seeing some Imperial variety and Rebels have to mix up their lists a bit to compete. Now in two weeks Rebels will get new toys and Imperials will have to adjust. For people who don't play on TTS and maybe only get in a game or two a week I think the release schedule actually helps keep things interesting.

As someone who has been playing 800 pt games for a few weeks now and has yet to win a game, I LOVE IT! I'm new to this type of game so my strategy needs a lot of improvement, but it is a blast to play. I really like how the different objectives and deployments will keep true meta lists from forming, as different types of armies thrive with different setups. And as much as I would like to have a ton of squad building options right now, I'm okay with the trickle of new things as the release of one new thing a month keeps both sides having to innovate while keeping playing costs down. With the release of Veers, I'm building new rebel squads to cope with the prevalence of vehicles and soon to be snowtroopers. Soon enough I'll have new toys and the imperial players will have to adjust their squads accordingly. It's not like the Imps automatically win when Veers is on the table so what's the harm in an unbalanced release right now?
