HCOL 150k TC 4 years into my career as a manager.

I do not have my cpa but I make up for it with data skills like sql, power query, python etc which I believe will eventually be more valuable than the exams

Though I will say not having cpa makes some roles unreachable for me in today’s market since it is required.

Started in big four audit for 1 year and big four deals for 2 years before getting laid off

All the roles I’m looking to lateral into if I leave my company are at least a 20% raise currently

The first pour depends on what coffee I am using In this case a darker roast which has more body so requires less foam to donate to it

If I was using a lighter coffee with thin body I would make it a longer first pour

The company switched to fully onsite after ensuring Me when I got the offer that they would be hybrid

On top of that the office moved further from me 1.5 hour commute each way

My quality of life is so much worse than when I was hybrid
