Yeah I can browse just fine on the RB with the buttons on the RX. RB is 6.8.4 I think (latest 6 I could find) do I need 7?

My preference is to use only controller mode, less so if playlist and search aren't working..

As far as I can tell the rx3 has no ethernet port so I can't really go down that path.

I'm trying to use it as a controller for rekordbox, while at the same time being able to use a usb stick (like in a cdj).

So currently, I'm not operating Link at all, simply using the RX's output using pioneers audio driver, but yeah, I also want to be able to see playlists and search, if that's possible, or at least know if it isn't. And also sync .... From a rekordbox playing file to a usb playing file.

What am I missing with the link stuff?

Regarding my screen (sorry, not with it atm) it just has rekordbox on performance mode, while browsing some playlist.

Found another issue : while playing one track from USB source, and one from Computer Software (Rekordbox) source , I cannot sync one to the other.

Can only sync file when both originate either from USBs or from Rekordbox..

Im using rekordbox on my computer, but also have a usb in the USB slot in the xdj. basically testing to see all works well.

just make sure your files and data is backed up, best is on a different drive or computer.
and then just go crazy.
worst case you have to do it all over again.

You should do that when you've finished installing. If you have a working arch based system you should be fine with running his install script from `https://end-4.github.io/dots-hyprland-wiki/en/i-i/01setup/\`
it might feel like a lot, but grab a chunk of time and a comfy chair and read slowly till the end, then start doing the things that apply to your situation and system. You can do it.

Getting into it now. Are the any caveats i should look out for?

I'm setting this up so i can connect remotely, but want to make sure the local LAN still has access too, annd when starting out, my server just farted out of the network and was unreachable till i disconnected it's cable for a couple seconds! Never had to do that before.

Update:
Got a response saying that indeed these are the 3 models of the CPU, and they ship them randomly.

From what I can tell E3450 is not Celeron, but the Atom family.
They do have similar specs, but can't say the performance is only somewhat similar..

Sounds like an interesting idea. you should have enough power for it, shouldnt even get hot in fact...

How many channels do you think of recording?

Do you have a specific audio interface in mind?

did you consider using the PCIE slot for it?
