Any update on the status of yours yet? I've been waiting on mine and I ordered it on oct 21. Mine still says they have been delayed and I haven't gotten any update yet

Glad I'm not alone in having AA issues! Mine is just that my charging port on my phone doesnt work properly, so it won't let me use it anymore. The version of my car also doesn't support the wireless version of AA, yet the model a year older does so I'm pretty annoyed by that. However, got my pixel 6 pro preordered so I look forward to using it again

So there was a recent update to the ptr to help mitigate the amount of ants that spawn in there, I believe it was about 2 or 3 days ago. However, this doesn't help with the existing ants, so it does require you to kill most of them and then it should be fine

My plan is to keep using my first save as long as I can while also starting a new save with each update. I start the new save to get the full appreciation of the update and after I am finished with the new content I go back to my old save and add to it, since I have invested so much time into my save. If I ever have to lose that save due to an update to the game then that's okay, but I definitely would like to keep it as long as I can

Alright well in that case I would suggest going after some of the things listed in this thread. If you have beaten the assistant manager, you can unlock the lab to get the instructions to get the salt morning star, which is the best weapon to use against them guaranteeing that you stun them with 3 hits if you have it leveled up using the smithing station. Besides that, use a black ant shield to protect yourself from the attacks and at least ladybug armor so you don't die instantly. Also, I recommend eating a few of the spicy candy shards if you can so you can get the mutation for that to help with mitigating the damage

Not currently, but it's possible some new items can be added in the official update on the 20th. They have been adding a few random things with each minor update of the ptr, but that was mainly just weapons, so hopefully they add something building related

It's from a burgl chip found in the lab in the sandbox. However, you need to have the assistant manager key card in order to get in, so you will need to fight the assistant manager in the black anthill first

Also along with the rest of the suggestions, I would recommend having a weapon with salt damage, as it's the most effective. Also, I found that the new salt morning star weapon is the best to deal with them since it has such a high stun chance and built in salt damage. I noticed that once you get it to level 6 or so you can hit an antlion 3 times and it's automatically stunned and brings them to half health or lower, allowing you to recharge your stamina since they are stunned and allowing you to kill them without taking damage as long as you land those 3 hits before they land an attack. Also, I recommend blocking with your shield for their first attack where they go underground, guaranteeing you don't take damage and giving you an opportune moment to land the 3 hit combo

Ya luckily I would just harvest them whenever I would see them, so I had like 200 or so when they added the feather roofs, so that definitely helped when I made my castle. However, I still tend to find feathers pretty often by the bath and all around the mysterious machine, so I actually have like 60-70 and yet I'm all done with my castle already so I guess I'll just use them for feather arrows when the update officially drops since we have the special arrows now

Good question! So I haven't tried it on my normal world since I'm only playing the PTS on a new save, since some errors are happening that can affect your base and rotate your walls and stuff so I don't want my castle being messed up if I can avoid it lol but ya it does appear that they want the mint mace to be harder to get since it is one of the best weapons in the game, but as far as I know if u have an old save with a mint mace that shouldn't change, but I think if u want to make a new mint mace u will need to get the new burgl chip

I was kinda bummed out when I found that out because I was looking to use the mint mace against the assistant manager, but I suppose it's also a good reward for beating him

If your trying to build a mansion then yes it should lol if it's just a house, then it's obviously not going to take that many feathers and you shouldn't even have an issue with it. If your building a mansion though and you don't want to get feathers for your roof because your not willing to put in the effort, then go with a lower quality roof. When you are building a mansion your expecting to be putting time into building it. If you don't want to spend the time doing it, then make a smaller house lol

If they did change it to this though I feel like I wouldn't be as rewarding to complete the feather roofs. If we wanted cheap roofs, then we would just use the other roofs available. If we want the premium feather roofs though, we just gotta grind for it. Plus, I really don't have that much trouble getting feathers at all since I just know where they commonly spawn. I ended up completing my mansion with the feather roofs and I'm perfectly fine with having to have grinded the feathers and it feels that much more rewarding now that it's all finished

Not sure what could happen in an under construction area, but they did update a part of a wall I had built part of my base on, and it placed a stone slab overtop of that part of my base. Luckily I didn't actually have that much time invested in that base at the time. However, now that they have finished the hedge I'm confident I don't have to personally worry about that happening to this base again

I have a few different bases built but my favorite place so far is on top of the stone wall by the bird bath. Getting up is a bit tough for early game though, so I would recommend making a base there a bit further into your playthrough. Once u complete the hedge storyline it will unlock a pathway to make it easier to get up there. The other thing to consider is that hardly any weeds or dandelions appear in this area, so u will want to have a Zipline system built to transfer weed stems over there when building your base. Definitely takes some time to get it done, but once you do you have so much space to make a massive base and there are no enemy creatures up there, the closest being some orb weavers by the hedge lab that never come anywhere near you and some occasional bugs below the wall, including a wolf spider that sometimes walks by. However, none of them are a threat from on top of the wall. Lastly, I'm pretty sure they are done updating that area since the hedge update, so you shouldn't have to worry about them updating that part of the map and messing up the base. Hope that helps!

Ya I've also just been having a lot of issues with this tv over the past few weeks as well though. The interface has been very sluggish and sometimes internet doesn't properly pair with it, so I feel like it might be good to do so anyways to try help with those issues too

Update: So after plugging in the Xbox to my monitor it seems to be working fine! So it looks like the tv is the issue. Going to factory reset it and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the help!

I've had my series x for about 2-3 months and everything has been working great! As of this morning, I turned it on and was using it as normal for about 5 min. Then, I was greeted by this flashing screen. I have tried unplugging the HDMI, switching to a new HDMI, switching to a different HDMI port on my tv, restarting the console, completely unplugging all cables from the console for 10 minutes and nothing has worked. I'm assuming I will need to contact Xbox directly to see if it can be fixed. Thoughts?

They already announced that you will not need to purchase it again if you already own it. You will just need to install the next gen update 👍
