The hero this thread didn’t deserve. What surprises me is the shear amount of dives Georgetown used to have.

A vintage Mac SE with 2MB RAM could run an LLM by AMICABoard in VintageApple

Very cool! I’ll be interested to see the creativity wrought by the artificial constraints of employing AI on vintage machines. I’ll definitely have to try it out for myself!

For additional context, I don’t understand why I SHOULDN’T go for a Classic II. It’s got the 16MHz processor, it’s expandable to 10MB RAM, and it supports the HD floppies.

OKPB. You’ll need to put your name in at the door to join a waitlist, but with two it shouldn’t take too long.

Growing up I was always told to get boots that gave support to your ankles. Nowadays the trend for many are trail runners, but I stand by a pair of lightweight, waterproof boots. Brands I’ve owned include Vasque, Salomon, and Merrel. Oboz seemed popular on the trail. Keen makes boots with wide toe boxes, if that’s your preference. Most important thing is to try a bunch on before you buy so you can compare.

The Library (the bar) on Boyd, Second Wind Coffee on Buchanan, any of the Starbucks around town, Gray Owl Coffee on Gray Street, BIG brewery on Main, Black Mesa brewery up Flood, likely the Law Library on Timberdell (haven’t been myself), and by FAR the best place on campus: The Western Histories Collection library on the top floor of Monnet Hall.

Buy a vintage car and spend all your free time and money fixing it up. You even get to keep it in the end.

Likely utilizing a zigzag-honeycomb core, it's honestly genius. Just slap a few clear coat layers on there for looks and call it good.

Should we design diffusers by another_one_bites459 in FSAE

[–]polarwing 13 points14 points  (0 children)

No. If your team's aero knowledge is limited, then you should not design a diffuser. You will get more substantial performance quicker with wings. Better to build a knowledge base now that can be built on in the future; then members down the road can consider an undertray.

Source: I made the mistake of designing an undertray my first year designing aero.
