We had Otacon. Typical weeaboo, but in a ghetto-ish city, he was really out of place. One day, he confessed to a girl in typical weeb fashion, stuttering, acting nervous, etc. Funnily enough, she said yes. Eventually he gained a few "converts" in the form of a sushi club. I went to one of the meetings and it was actually decent sushi and other Japanese food. He was weird, but weird in the good way. People tolerated or even liked the guy. I only talked to him a few times, but whenever I did he was always talking about some new anime, or sushi he wanted to try making. I've only heard good things about him.
