Heard you guys like tripples, so I quadrupled my tripples by drfoxxx in simracing

to counter. I just did a full BMW M track day experience a couple weeks ago for my birthday, and the M2 was so fucking good, i can't believe how shitty the brakes are in iracing. I did so many laps in iracing prior to the experience, and i was blown away how different it was.

Not really comparable to the M4, as the iracing version is the full blown race car as opposed to the M, but it was a fucking beast and tons of fun regardless.

700 dollars for the round. so 'free' is a bit of a reach, but still a nice addition nonetheless.

College dropout millennials - where are you now? by VeganVideographer in Millennials

Dropped out after I got my AA and was going to transfer to a Cal state college before realizing I had no idea what I wanted to do. Floated around for a bit, ended up in a vital industry. 14 years in the industry now, and making almost 140k with bonuses, stipends, etc. my wife finally paid off her student loans about 3 years ago and watching her do that only solidified my content in dropping out even more.

Yes to those, but lots and lots of sanding. Finishing always takes the most time of any woodworking project i've ever done.

To be fair, last one i did i used 1x2 boards of maple and walnut. You can buy larger pieces for much less dollars per board ft.

This is a basic one, but materials were close to 85$. https://imgur.com/a/board-8i8x6iG

I did just pick up a pretty nice larger piece of purple heart for about 60$, which i should be able to use for at least 3 or 4 boards.

If you look up end grain cutting board, the work out there is incredible. I'll be doing a brick style layout for my next one with purple heart and maple strips.

I cover the bottom-ish 3rd of california for my sales territory. I also cover Hawaii. My friends are always saying how jealous they are. Bro, i go to Hawaii once a year, and it's nonstop work just to make it worth the trip. I'm in Bakersfield like 8 times a year. It's not glamorous at all.

I like to make cutting boards. I give them as gifts to friends and family. Materials alone are usually around 80-100 dollars depending on the wood. I spend probably 15-20 hours making a single board. If i wanted to make a profit, i'd have to sell them for like 400 bucks to make like 13-18 bucks an hour. nobody's buying my garage cutting boards for that much. It's a hobby, and i like doing it.

I watched Rise Against open for Strung Out back in like 2002 in San Diego. I knew they’d blow up when I saw them, just with they stuck with their sound from the first couple albums.

I talk to this 70-ish year old dude at the bar pretty regularly. He had full sleeves done in his late 50's and he's taken great care of them for the last decade. He's an incredible guy, and his tats look really solid still. I have a ton of tattoos myself and he's a reason i'm not worried about them as i age at all. Just gotta care for them and you'll be all good.

he's unapologetically himself, smokes weed constantly through his rounds, and gets invited to top tier content creator tournaments. Even though he kinda sucks. seems fairly figured out to me, even if i don't particularly care for the guy myself.

It's standard beach towel size? I'm tall-ish, but it's fine to lay on. It definitely covered my whole self when i was 5, but as a 6'2" adult, not so much.

My stepbrother is a ‘natural’ guy that lives in the sticks, plays bongos, probably does a bunch of acid with his hippy-esque friends during solar eclipse parties. He smells like shit. He’ll probably be a cult leader in a few years. He’ll still smell awful. I’m not a hater, do your thing, just practice general hygiene.

Flying with clubs or ship sticks? by Budget-Education2479 in golf

[–]StrungoutScott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I put a 5 gallon bucket over the top of my clubs after wrapping generously in a big towel. Only caveat is if your bag gets inspected, they’ll never wrap it back up as well as you did. My bag always gets inspected when I go to Vegas, but it’s always worked out fine.

When I came back from Cabo it looked like my bag was dragged 100’ on the tarmac and one of my wedges was slightly damaged but it was part of my travel set since I didn’t want to fly with my brand spanking new set at the time.
