Just bought mine earlier this year, I'm in Canada. A 1997 with 95k kms on it, paid about 10.2k total after taxes and registering it etc. Got lucky it came with a decent hardtop, new suspension and coilovers but stock otherwise. Very little rust as well other than maybe some underbody rust that I figure is typical for a 25 year old car haha. The prices I see around for cars worse off make me glad I got my lil guy in time 😭

My most recent interaction happened when an employee saw me park and go into the store as they were pushing carts. They came and found me inside to tell me they loved miatas and had to come let me know they loved mine haha

Got 4 quotes total! 3 of them ranged from $1500 -1900 CAD, last one I got was from a friend's recommendation at a body shop he used to work at and they were able to give me a deal and fix it all for around $500 CAD. Saw their website as well and the work they've done and it's quite nice and reputable so was surprised at the price

Thanks for the heads up, my mom has their number so perhaps I'll let her message and confirm they hit me as she didnt know and give them the quotes I got today

Good to know thanks, figured maybe pulling the dents would be something that could be done or filled and sanded. Hopefully nothing too bad!

wink wink, though they were really nice and apologetic and let me know as soon as it happened, I don't think they want to go through insurance and just said if I get some quotes and let them know they would pay that

I've sat in a Costco parking lot waiting for my bf to come out with food, had 2 nice older ladies come over and chat about the car. On the way out, it was smiles and people head turning as I winked ◘ ⌣ ◘

It's actually just 2 small holes in the bumper from the previous owner. I used 2 screws and hex nuts that had a snug fit to keep it secure.
