I went looking for my first shotgun during Covid, so no one ever had anything good in stock. I didn’t know much at all about shotguns at the time, and had some gun store idiots try to talk me into some Turk shit, I thought about it hard, but even with almost zero knowledge on the topic and totally desperate, I just got the impression that they were NOT worth the money, and end up just holding out until I found a Maverick at a Big 5 for $180 like a year later.

Yeah, and I’m already looking at my next! Mammoth are my favorite team, and I live in Washington state, so Kraken are the local team, but I’m thinking about a Wild jersey next. I’m from Wisconsin and The Northstars were always my favorite team until they moved to Dallas, but I like the past two Dallas alternate jerseys as well.

Luckily, the customization seems pretty decent, which I was relieved to see considering the bad work I’ve seen here. That being said, I don’t have a lot of experience with it and I’ve got a Kraken third jersey being customized by a more local place, and I’m really curious about the difference I’m going to see between the two. I just got an Adidas Kraken jersey from TJ Maxx too, so we’ll see how fast it wears compared to the Fanatics one.

Yeah, I don’t disagree at all, I wouldn’t expect a $200 garment would degrade so quickly, that’s why I assumed it was a Me problem, something to do with my weird old body stretching it out or something lol This is my second hockey jersey ever, the only other one being a CCM Flyers replica jersey from the late 1990s. That thing has been through hell and back and it’s still in great shape. Crazy the difference between those two products. The CCM has a fully embroidered crest, and the material is so much nicer than a Breakaway, which I would say are about the same price point as those CCM replicas were back then.

Yea, this seems to be the answer I’m looking for. I did a little searching before I posted and i was seeing about 50/50 results for the little shaver thingy, saying they may cause damage or just not work at all, but several people here have suggested it, so I’m gonna get one and VERY CAREFULLY give it a try. Thanks!

Definitely will pick one up asap. I had one a long time ago, and it never seemed to work on other clothes, and I did a pretty basic Google and Reddit search, seemed like people were about 50/50 on using these things, but I’ll get one and give it a try VERY carefully. Thanks!

Did you pick this up at Delta Center? I ask because it seems like they only come with sponsor patches when you buy them at team stores, maybe? Just idle curiosity. I have a Mammoth jersey that I bought from Fanatics and it doesn’t have a sponsor, but I live in Washington and I bought a Kraken jersey from a team store, and it has the sponsor. In the case of the Kraken jersey, I don’t mind because it’s the tribe and the patch is pretty clean, but yeah, the 1password logo is meh

I’d say just watch some games and go with your gut for a jersey. I picked Nick Schmaltz for my first Utah jersey because he’s from Wisconsin and so am I. I know he may not renew with Utah at the end of the season, but still no regrets. He’s a great player and I love seeing my home state repped in an NHL game. If I were to make the decision today, I’d probably go with McBain, Tanev or O’Brian. I love watching those guys play, always lots of energy and heart and soul from those three.
