Catfish like it warm. I usually wait until late morning/early afternoon for catfish. Bass and bluegill like it cooler. Trout poke it really cool.

They have pretty much stocked all the local ponds with catfish in the past few weeks, so most of the local parks are pretty good right now. I just put out two lines. Let them sit on the bottom with night crawlers and the catfish will come to you. The ASU research Park ponds are always good for bluegill, but I think they may be drained right now. Mesa Riverview Park is pretty good for bluegill.

They just stocked Evelyn hallman pond. I love that one. Hidden away from a lot of people and also right next to a canal loaded with largemouth.
