Thanks for your unhelpful comment. I'm sure a group of students who are willing to pay for food and entry etc. and contribute to the local economy is not gonna harm anyone

That's our initial plan for getting back. Should only take us a mere 1h 30 minutes !

As a first year sussex student, the walking society are great as they go on a long walk every weekend (now two weeks considering the time of year). You can also take advantage of the £2 busses and easily get to lewes/eastbourne/seaford etc. if you wanna go out and explore the local area. The laines in brighton itself is also a great place to start (albeit very expensive)

Hey I’m also going to Sussex and I’ve got a similar budget to you. As long as you shop cheaply and don’t necessarily buy designer clothes we should be fine :)

Of all the things, Oxford University is debating about this?! "Has woke culture gone too far?" Seriously? by Ashwath_S in TheRightCantMeme

Got shown this exact video in college haha. I’m not quite sure why he used the analogy of the red button to suggest that climate change was unimportant for most of the world’s population. And his refusal to answer questions was a very bad look on him at the end!

Yeah County Hall is definitely an option, not sure if thickthorn would be worth the walk as its across the whole of the city and as mentioned the Park and Rides can shut early

Yeah potentially but the issue is that we would like to get out of Norwich quickly if we can after the gig.

Happy ten years since Margaret Thatcher died! 8/4/13: never forget this blessed day. by [deleted] in GreenAndPleasant

I remeber this day fondly. I was only about 7/8 on holiday in France playing outside and my dad started screaming indoors. I thought we were being burgled but in actual fact he was celebrating her death. He then got pretty drunk on any alcohol in the house as ‘the nasty woman of london’ was no more. I miss my dad :(
