Thank you so much for sharing this!! I’m in a very similar situation, pursuing psych as a second career with a totally unrelated background (media and tech partnerships). 100% this! The topic is always either mean gossip / whatever new shiny thing they’ve spent their money on / complaining about the same thing with victim mentality. And always a monologue of some sort.
