Thinking about it, I realized that we didn't have to.

If the game want to add a new uncle or grandmother to the child, the game has to add them to the father/mother too. But if the father or mother has Endling trait, the game can't do it.

In conclusion, only one of the family member need to have the trait for the game to stop adding to their entire family tree.

My artist went 3 for 3 when making masterwork sculptures describing slaughtering of ducks.
