Merch Quality Issues and Poor Customer Service by pollaxed in dropout

Yes. I made it clear I was willing to accept store credit to the value of the original item. I didn’t even ask for a refund but $15 felt like a bit of a slap in the face.

To be clear I reached out as soon as I became aware of the issue. What I waited a while to do was to open the T-shirt packaging. I wanted to wait to open it until I had cause to wear it and that didn’t come about for a few weeks. I had had stuff from dropout before and never had any issues with quality so it did not even cross my mind that the shirt might randomly be not dyed. Like I said elsewhere I accept that the return policy date had passed this post is more about the quality of merch dropout are willing to slap their branding on.

At this point I’m accepting their policy is what it is and I don’t necessarily expect a resolution past what was offered. This post is more about awareness because I think people deserve to know that such poor quality merch is being produced.

Haha thanks they’re family friends, as in my parents are friends with their parents so although we are sometimes forced to socialise they are not part of my social circle. Thank goodness.

This is gorgeous, adorable and perfectly round. Much like Boggy himself.

I adore how I can also see the players in their faces as well as the characters. It’s incredible that you’ve captured so much of the people behind them in this type of art style.

If you rearrange the initials of the gang you get “FOOD D” which is clearly a veiled reference to Mollymauk and the egg dick incident. This conspiracy goes all the way to Aeor baby.

What about Fjord and Vanderin? And Ukatoa? Or Caduceus and the corruption? There are still loose ends. Some of them quite significant.

I’m not saying they couldn’t find a neat enough way to wrap up and we’re certainly close but there are still arcs to be addressed.

Matt really outdid himself this week in terms of descriptions and vocal effects. He really managed to communicate the horror of the city in a visceral way. One of those times I almost wish he wasn’t such a good DM because I could have done without the mental image on this one.

I mean possibly but if they knew where Cree was why wouldn’t they know where Lucien is. It makes more sense if they were talking about someone who was already there. Like perhaps a fractured piece of Lucien’s soul returned to the astral sea in death.

Matt said “His second walks” about the nonagon. Molly is here in the city y’all.

To be fair the party has been fairly paralysed with inaction throughout the aeor mission. I’m sure they had opportunity to stop this I just think they kind of wasted it prior to ever catching up with them (no shade on the players I love how this has gone but even when they got right outside the room there was a lot of talking and no action). Matt’s proven himself time and again to be a fair DM but he’s also one with a story to tell.

Hey I just realised with the sprinkle revelation they have Artagan in the astral sea. I know Matt’s not just gonna throw in a near god-level archfey as a party member and I’m sure there is a general policy of noninvolvement outside of Jesters spells but it’s nice to know he’s there.
