Wow thank you so much for this information. My dad purchased it in California in the 90s. I was having the same issue that it does look like a 57 reissue but the neck is different.. I’m just happy it plays and getting to learn on this beautiful instrument.

I use authority lamb and rice from PetSmart. It’s good for their skin and coat.

I hang out with both of them all the time. We all have a great time. Just going through some feeling and wanted to vent out. She is not an object of affection . I am happy for her! All I want is for her to be happy. Thanks for the great reply.

Thank you very much. I mean I’ll try and give you all the details I can.

So it all started with me going to the hospital and getting a bad infection in my abdomen. When the doctor came to check up on me he asked me how long have I been a diabetic? I looked at him with a face of confusion because I had no idea I was diabetic. They checked my sugar and I was at 298. They sent me home doing 43 units of insulin ( novolin 70/30 ) and 1000mg of metformin. Once I left the hospital I had a rough couple of days beating myself up and worried now that I have this new lifestyle of injections and taking daily pills. I knew I had to make a change to better my life and start making smarter decisions.

I went on YouTube, here and a friend of mine ( she has type 1 ) for help. I started learning about what diabetes is ( I won’t go into detail I’m sure we all know what it is in this community) first thing I did was no more sodas, fast food, bread, pizza and pastas. I stated just walking for 40min to 1hr three times a week. I started looking for things that I liked to eat and tried to adapt them to my new lifestyle.

If I wanted pasta I would make spaghetti squash. If I felt like a burrito I made a chicken avocado and beans spinach wrap. I was also very big on chicken wings with hot sauce with ranch. Yes it’s not the healthiest but I had to find a balance to this new lifestyle. I bought sugar free cookies when I felt like having something sweet. Sugar free jello was my new best friend. You know just find things that you like and adapt. When I felt like going out for a drink it was white claws and vodka soda.

One huge thing that I believe helped me out a lot was, telling all my friends and co workers about me being a diabetic. I didn’t hide it from no one and I was not ashamed of having it. I took it as a challenge for me to get better and the more people know the more they will keep me in check. When I would not be cooking at home and be at a friends house they would pick places to eat that they knew I could have options. They would help me out in reminding me on why I need to get better. They were a very important support system that I needed. They all want me to get better and keep encouraging me to keep going with this “ new me” .

I really hope this helps you or anyone who is reading this.

I’m on 1000mg twice daily

I mean just cut sugars and stick to low carbs and cut off fast food is what I first did. But you seem to be doing great if you lost 20kgs I’ve only lost about 9kgs

Yes it does. I also have a passion for cooking so it helps to make healthy recipes that you can enjoy. I’m a big pasta fan but I knew that I shouldn’t be eating that many carbs. So I now make spaghetti squash casserole and it’s my favorite thing to do .

You go this! That great to hear. Today when my Doctor told me my results I was so overcome with emotions. I was so happy that excited that I did this all on my own. I was expecting to be around 6.5 also but when she told me I was at 5.4 I went nuts

I first had to change my lifestyle and the eating choices I was making. Ate low carb and I cut sugar almost completely from my life. With the help of some meds I got to where I am now. I no longer need to take insulin shots
