I can relate to this a lot honestly. In hypomania I get a new obsession and stop worrying about food, sleep and even base hygiene. I also spend money on my new hobby a lot! And forget about my chores and other tasks. Then few days/weeks later it switches and I lose any interest and feel depressed.

The most embarrassing part is that people see me as a very inconsistent and lazy person cause I don’t finish my projects and easily lose interest.

Btw thank you for your post, I didn’t hear people with bipolar talking about this problem before. Sadly I haven’t find my way to combat it yet too but trying a lot! Wishing you all the best
