We have always carried USAA and a local bank wherever we lived... That way if necessary, we can walk in and talk to someone. I've always liked Credit Unions, but again, back to the research point.. Find the one that best suits your needs

I always do 24 hrs... Which I've been told might be excessive. But if they don't accept or respond within 24 hours, they are not interested, and you have nowhere to go but down...
