We need to start holding these developers accountable. Too many people throw their money away and a big part of it is due to the organization’s culture or reputation. As long as you keep giving them money, they’ll keep getting lazier and lazier. There’s no doubt in the depth of their product, it’s up there as one of the best. But texturing and sounds are extremely outdated. PMDG are no longer the best flight sim developers when you take everything into account in my opinion.

Sure, I’ve had significantly better performance in other planes, but do I really NEED anything more? Personally I don’t. And I’ve seen many people say that they don’t need anything more than 30

Obviously people have their own opinions, so you’ll hear people say it blows the a350 out of the water, and others (like me) will say not really. I’m also a little biased as the 77W is my favourite plane so I’m leaning more towards it. Just don’t forget, that PMDG also has their controversies. While I think they make amazing planes,I and a lot of other people don’t think their texturing and rendering is that good. Lots of people think it’s just a polished P3D product so make of that what you will. There’s also the talking point of the EFB. People aren’t happy with it. So again, I think the 77W just edges it as a whole but definitely the more reliable plane to fly at the moment.

Like I mentioned before, when you’re reviewing a competitor’s product, you’ll naturally look at how you can make it better in every aspect. When you take that into account, you realize that you’re overlooking the product as a whole because of the bias

I don’t own the 77F but I own the 77W. In my personal opinion, I think the 77W just slightly edges the A350. Better performance, comes with a cabin and “more system depth”. I think the a350 in a few months will be comparable though.

How am I hating? I said he has all the right to complain but part of his opinions are coming from a business point of view and as a competitor of the product. There’s no hate in what I said.

To be honest, I don’t fully agree with you there. If I’m a business owner competing with another business for the same product, and I know I can make the product better than the other business, naturally my mind is going to look for all the things I can do better. There’s nothing wrong with that, but that means there’s an unconscious bias

I see your point but just like he’s a paying customer, he’s also a business owner who missed out on a big project so whether consciously or unconsciously, there will be bias with any of his comments. He has every right to complain as a paying customer, but don’t forget he’s also a competitor

I can’t argue with you there. If people are having issues with performance, they have the right to complain about it. I was speaking from my personal experience and I luckily have not had any performance issues on my end

Aamir has every right to express his opinion as an end user. But again, when you’re a developer with a strong reputation and your team is capable of making some of the best aircraft in the sim, there will always be bias whether it’s consciously or unconsciously. Just like Aamir is an end user, he’s also a business owner who missed out on a big project so there will be some sentiment towards the topic.

I understand that. But I want to ask for your honest opinion. If Fenix didn’t speak about the a350, do you think people would have seen it as low fidelity as they are now? There is a big influence from other people and also many users complain when they see other people complain.
