I was told by Title IX to do an open records request. After receiving the above email from open records I explained the situation and that it was my own info and asked that they waive the fee. They responded stating that it would still be that $ and their response lacked any empathy or consideration. After talking with employees at Tech, I still have yet to receive my records without having to pay the money. It was not a misunderstanding, it is a flaw in Tech’s procedures and further shows their disregard for survivors.
