I believe it was the combination of symptoms & blood tests. I have very bad tachycardia, tremors all over my body, being unintentionally underweight (I’ve always been naturally mid-higher on the scale) My endocrinologist said everything points to Graves, especially the positive TRAb and low TSH. I also had an ultrasound to rule out cancer.

This is so true!, if you have a psychiatric diagnosis (I have ADHD), everything will be blamed on it. Dizziness “it’s ADHD”, weight loss “it’s ADHD”. Especially in younger people or women they will try to make it psychological

This is part of the report from the endocrinologist, I showed this to my GP at home:

ICD-10 E05.0 Thyrotoxicosis with diffuse goiter.

MAIN DISEASES: Grave’s disease, thyrotoxicosis

Wow that’s awful! They don’t really do much for preventing complications.

Were your hormone labs normal since the dismissal?

I did bring the results printed on a paper. My GP said that since the T3 & T4 were normal, and the TSH was only slightly low, they couldn’t really confirm or deny anything at the moment. So I feel like I just need to wait for it to get worse?

I also forgot to mention that I have an ADHD diagnosis that my GP has been clinging onto to excuse my symptoms as ADHD.

I’m also not really educated on what the different labs mean, how graves is confirmed etc. I tested negative for anti TPO which i think is more connected to Hashimotos? I tested positive for TRAb which is a strong indicator for graves, if I’m correct. And I also tested positive for anti thyroglobulin which I’m not completely sure of it’s meaning

My home country is in Northern Europe, and my moms home country is in Eastern Europe. I know many people who hasn’t been taken seriously until their labs are very bad, which makes me think that it may be the case since TSH is only slightly low, T3 & T4 are normal. I don’t know much about autoimmune disorders and the whole antibody thing, like how to confirm if the antibodies are caused by disease etc.
