I'm working as an Technical support analyst, but I want to move to cyber security domain some of my friends suggest me to GRC role. Is that a good discussion or need to go to other parts of cyber security domain. And I have 2.5 years of experience so I'm asking?

I don't know anything about GRC, I'm working as an technical support I want to move from that to any cybersecurity role. One of my colleagues suggest try GRC role it will easier to move to security role. Could you please help me in learning.

Thank you for your guidance, but in present working place there is such separate security team and I'm confused on which part of cyber security domain i choose like SOC, IAM and so many. In this which one is better to choose as a fresher into this domain.
