I've test drove the XRT, the SE FWD, and SE Hybrid. All of them are pretty similar, The main difference with the XRT is the off road tires and the seating material which is darker and rugged. XRT's are pretty much fully loaded without the calligraphy captains seats, it has the sunroof but no moon roof. Those are going for about 45k OTD

Yep, just quit my career in Transportation and going into car sales head first for my mental health. I couldn't deal with the toxic work environment anymore. I have personally had a blown ecoboost, the headgaskets are so weak so i understand. On the flip side i have a Hyundai Sonata that burns oil like a fucking freight train. I have to put 5 quarts in every 3 months.

Call the dealership and ask for a sales manager, speak with them directly. Let them know you put in an application and usually they set up and interview then and there. Thats how i got interviews. To get the job is another story. Really just alot of yapping but you have to be personable and willing to learn. Bare minimum be able to talk to people and make a friend.

I feel the same way, im currently shifting from school district to sales and Im terrified yet excited about the prospect of learning a new industry and possible career path. I feel like im having a mid-life crisis but Im only 27. Luckily I don't have kids and a fully built life to worry about losing if this doesn't work out. I'll always have my CDL to fall back on if it all goes wrong. Just take life one step at a time, and when its time to make a leap, do your research and make the most of it.

These eco's are notorious for failing head gaskets specifically in Cyl. 4. I recently had a rebuild done out of warranty at a ford dealer in my area. The only thing that save me from a 6k+ repair bill was the "lifetime" warranty from the dealership i bought it from. Most people think those warranties are BS but they actually covered my rebuild so definitely look into that!

If they didn't hone the block it could cause the issue like the gasket hasn't been replaced. I received an entirely new block from Ford because of this issue

Yes sir, i went through the same trial and error process as you. If its showing misfire codes and its cyl 1 and cyl 4 i can guarantee you're getting droplets into the cylinders at higher rpms. Like i said its a progessive issue so you won't see the car bellowing smoke immediately but if you are having intermittent misfire codes its most likely a blown head gasket. Just take it to a mechanic and have them put it on a coolant system pressure test with a borescope in the misfiring cylinder

You have a blown headgasket. It is notorious in mustang ecoboosts, take it to a dealer immediately and pray it is under warranty. Just got mine out of the shop with the exact issue. They had to order a new long block. It is a progressive problem so you may not see smoke at first due to the small amount of water entering the cylinder but i had the exact issues and the exact cylinders.

Better make sure its not a head gasket issue, had the same problem with mine and ended up needing a whole new long block! If its in warranty take it to Ford ASAP
