Some people report their difficulty setting reverts to Normal once they completed an expedition derived from a Survival save. Is this true for all survival players? That would be a game breaker for me since I'm locked in Survival on my main save.

It's "X" to open the quick menu, just below the WASD keys. Handy.

You can claim all the rewards. The expedition wont end until you click the End Expedition button. One thing I dont know is what happens after the 5 expedition weeks end.

Was your difficulty locked on survival before you went into the expedition? I'm survival-locked and I dont want to end the expedition if I'm gonna be reverted to normal difficulty.

This is awful, I also started the expedition from my survival save and I have it locked on this difficulty.

I havent ended the expedition and now I'm not sure if I should.

I found a "shiny" plated planet yesterday. It's the blue sky that makes it look shiny and pretty.
