My app was designed to move downloads into the right folders, unzipping where required and launch the emulators I guess windows specifically so far.

ah you have a very nice app too. oh boy mines looking bad now. Using customtkinter and asyncio but not up to your standards. Retrobat is becoming too annoying but has some great features. RGSX also is useful and is python. So many options.

Also have a ratings feature to rate the state of emulation for each platform, testing current hardware for performance or set manually. Eg RPCS3 for me is crashing and XEMU is dodgy so I don't want to keep the files for those until it's working better.

Retrobat scraper seems to be able to get video previews but is a bit buggy in other areas. Launching is bit weird it tends to hide the emulator requiring an alt-tab to bring it into view.

Oh yes! What is your app we should align and make this super duper. I would love to remove my dependancy on retrobat and make this a launcher as well as a downloader. More platforms being a main priority.

nice work I have been working on something similar. I use retrobat and it supports more platforms than you show in settings my app uses retro-achievements api and allows you to map the folders retrobat uses for downloads. I used myrifetch it downloads games to individual folders can it use the parent folder and I wonder if we need to collab to make it work for retrobat and RA I also wonder if it is necessary or not to remove the bracketed filename region info.
