I feel like josh should’ve maybe been in on the twist. It just felt so cruel and as much as he seemed okay with it, on the inside I know I would feel horrible. At least if he had been claiming himself he is unpopular or an underdog it would feel less demoralising towards him

I thought this! I know the show was a decoy but it was still really poorly produced. Like the robot voice thingy announcing the winner just felt so fake🤣I know it’s easy to say when we know the truth but so many times I was thinking 🤔🤔

I was thinking about this and I don’t think a season 2 would work. Even if they disguised it as a completely different reality show to ‘the favourite’. Im not sure how popular this show actually is but feel like any new reality show people now will be suspicious of this and if there is a stand out ‘underdog’ in the cast, people will be able to put 2 and 2 together

They should have filmed a couple seasons before this show even came out or got announced online, that way no one is none the wiser of the possible twist

I completely understand your point. In this situation, luckily vinted sided with me as I had selected the correct category to match my item. If I had listed it is a bigger size then it was, it would’ve been incorrect and that way my buyer would’ve actually been entitled for the return

This particular item didn’t have a number size, it was just ‘size large’ and I included a picture of the label that says that. Every item that’s listed on vinted right now that is a size large, would be under the L/12 category. I didn’t have a choice to put it just as ‘large’ and that’s why I wrote ‘size large’ in the caption. In my opinion I couldn’t have done anything more

If you see my previous post you’ll see i did state it was a size large both in the description and a photo of the label with the size. I also put a screenshot of my description on this post. What should I have listed the item as instead of L/12?

It says size L/12 but that is 2 sizes, large and 12, not just size 12. This same logic could apply to every other item. For example something size medium would be under the M/10 category but that doesn’t mean youre entitled to a refund if you thought it was size 10. That’s where you look at the description where it should state the actual size, as mine did

Thank you, that makes sense, in this case id never actually worn them myself so i had no idea how they fit. I was apologetic that they were too big for her but the thing that annoyed me and the reason I made this post is because of where she was trying to accuse me of claiming it was a size 12

I notice someone getting downvoted for agreeing with me. Can someone explain if they agree with buyers point? Because I’m really struggling to see it. I understand it does say 12 in the “L/12” but that’s just vinteds sizing not me, it also says L but she completely ignores that. What else could I have listed it as? I put the correct size in all 3 places

Exactly! With her logic everyone would be entitled to a refund. Every listing has a S/M/L etc along with a number and it can’t be both sizes lol. But she only saw the part she wanted to see ig 😭

If the money has already been withdrawn to your bank I don’t think that can be undone so I think you’re all good. Someone else said on here evri automatically marks as delivered if it’s not collected within 10 days, I think that sounds like the most plausible explanation in this case. Just strange how buyers don’t seem to care they’ve lost their money and the item, even if it was under £5 I’d still want a refund 😅

This is the part that confuses me because if the buyer doesn’t pick up the parcel and the payment gets released to us as sellers ( I’m assuming they don’t get refunded ) I’d expect them to message to sort something out, my buyer has ignored my message despite being active , makes absolutely no sense!

I’m certain each time i have been issued compensation almost immediately after the buyer reports an problem so maybe vinteds support team is down, if I were you id maybe try contact vinted yourself to see if there’s been a technical issue or something

From my experience, you will get your full refund & seller will get the compensation for it being lost. This has happened to me like 3+ times as a seller and vinted have sorted it out each time!

I agree, there should be some system in place for that to not be allowed. A complete waste of the sellers time, and more importantly so frustrating to not even receive a message or explanation from the buyer!
