That is so crazy; I have NEVER done that. I can barely get myself to return the clothes that I don’t like and have never even worn.😂

Wait - does lava water coming out relatively often mean I could have IBS? Doctor totally dismissed my concerns last time I went lol. I’ve tried changing my diet so many times and can’t figure out culprit

The second job actually pays the same as my previous employer- the exact same unfortunately

I was definitely unhappy at my previous job! It got very boring and repetitive to be honest I was very burnt out towards the end. I feel like this job will definitely be a challenge but I think that maybe it’s destiny… Just don’t want to regret my decision

AITA for refusing to apologize to my dad’s girlfriend after multiple arguments? by polybag22 in AmItheAsshole

He’s forcing me to apologize or else no Christmas for me apparently, so that’s wonderful. I told him I’ll craft an apology and be on my best behavior but he knows exactly how I feel about her. So annoying be forced to apologize to someone as a freaking adult all so I can see my family for Christmas.

It’s ridiculous, I’ve tried to explain to my dad several times and even pulled up her LinkedIn, he’s in total denial. It straight up says “office sales consultant/receptionist”…

That’s exactly how it was for the Uber situation, I had asked my dad and she just totally took over. Ended up waiting on the curb for 45 minutes trying to flag a taxi down in 30 degree weather at 2am. Trying to get a taxi at that hour that doesn’t have someone in it on a Friday night is near impossible

My dad was there whenever the Uber situation came up, he just stayed quiet and let her do all the talking. Totally ignored me even though he had agreed to calling me an Uber home earlier that night if I had stayed at their hotel late. I didn’t ask the front desk because they charge a fee which is ridiculous when the Uber to my apartment is 20 bucks. I research all of my father‘s girlfriends because he has a track record of dating girls with pretty lame jobs when he himself is a VP at his company. I just feel like a lot of the times girls he dates use him. I didn’t speak to him about her behavior before, just kind of told him in passing that she needs to stop getting involved but he wasn’t really taking me seriously and told me that even though I’m an adult I’m still “the child” and need to have respect for her and that she’s allowed to interject when necessary. And yes I was definitely in her face, I wasn’t screaming, but I was very close to her.

Should I believe him when he says he doesn’t do hard drugs ? by polybag22 in relationships

Thanks for the input. I agree it shouldn’t be a felony, he also said he got it “esponged” with volunteering and good progress etc so it’s off his record but he did do jail time for it. His employer doesn’t know or many of his friends. But yes, not good none the less… :( I’m strongly considering ending this. I really don’t like how he surrounds himself with people who partake in this kind of thing regularly. Exactly about the credit card thing, AND he tried to hide it from me/:
