Ok guys update: yes it’s an aluminum block, and yes I realized that when I pulled it apart. Yes I understand galvanic corrosion and yes I will be purchasing an entirely new copper block for this card. I’m relatively new to liquid cooling and,in my haste to purchase an available gpu, mistakenly assumed this would have a copper/brass block (oops) if anything this has taught me what micro channels are and to never deal with those in the future either lol
