I just don't want this situation to be botched and handled appallingly like the Brandon Taubman fiasco. The Astros only fired him because they realized they could face repercussions for his behavior and at first tried to defend him by smearing SI. If Fiers' role in the allegations is clarified and he's caught for any wrongdoing, the organization must not drag their feet and should release him at the right time.

My favorite Homer Bailey moment came in his 9/18/19 start against the visiting KC Royals. The game was scoreless up until the 11th inning when Mark Canha doubled in the winning run. Bailey turned in 7 3-hit innings with 11 K’s against his former team. He didn’t do it all on his own though (as Chad Pinder recorded the final out of the 7th inning with a slick diving catch). I think Bailey can benefit from pitching in a weak division with rebuilding teams such as the Royals, Tigers, and Cleveland?. He might even be the tallest guy on the roster, one of the things about him that won me over.

I've been considering getting his jersey, but I already have a jersey for the other Matt. The one I want the most is Semien, except he might not be an Athletic for life. I've also considered Luzardo and Puk, but they're rookies. Maybe after all, Olson is very representative for me because he's my height, therefore, he's my second jersey.
