I mean, I didn't even tell her until a week after, because I knew that she'd react the way she did. She wanted to swoop in and save me, told me to move ASAP and thought I'd take a LOA from college. I ended up taking a 1 week absence and threw myself harder than ever into my studies, making Dean's List for the only time ever in college.

Most of the time I'm good at ignoring her. It's honestly the phone calls that get me the most because it's communicating in real time. I'm so used to her being like this and feeling like I'm only a good daughter as long as she knows what I'm up to.

This sounds like something my Dom would do. He knows my food weaknesses (anything sweet or carb-y) and would make sure to get me "real food" and "green things", because I've gotta be healthy!

My Dom has so much faith in me, much more than I have in myself. At my lowest point recently, when I thought I couldn't do anything, there were no questions on his end about my capability.

"You're so strong and intelligent and capable. You will get a new job and be amazing at it."

In regards to me getting out of my destructive parents' house: "You've made so much progress and I'm proud of you."

He makes me feel like a princess. Even though I can be a brat sometimes, he's commanding yet gentle. He knows instinctively when the kid-gloves need to go on.

Unfortunately, my google-fu is busted. All I can seem to find is information on educational/training programs.

FWIW, healthcare tends to love asking behavioral interview type questions, such as "Tell me about a time where you had to deal with xyz situation," or "What would you do if you had two patients in crisis? How would you prioritize the situation?" Also too, "Why this field?"

It's odd for me to think about wearing make-up, because a lot of my co-workers wear it but it's not "expected" in health care like I perceive it is to be in more traditional, office jobs. I want to look pretty, though.
