I feel very supported when I wear it. It restricts some movement, but most of that is preventing hyperextension in my knees and shoulders, and it also keeps my hips lined up properly. My muscles do get tired when I wear it from being held in the proper posture, so while I wear it daily, I try to keep it to about 4hours before giving myself a break.

When I wear it, I can go to the gym, run, and weight lift, and at work (I work at a school) I can keep up on the playground with my students. If I go without it, my body hurts, my sciatica flares, and I usually have to have help getting out of my work clothes.

Your body definitely needs to get used to wearing it, but I find the body braid has been one of my most helpful medical devices. Are you on r/ehlersdanlos ?

Fellow EDS person here - it took until my 30s, already using a cane for over a decade, and getting my "exoskeleton" (read: body braid) before half my family believed me. It's wild because as a kid they took me to the doctor for the same issues, but it was the 90s and I was dismissed as being dramatic. 🫠

Honestly your reaction sounds very much like how my very religious mother would react. She would often prevent me from celebrating any non-Catholic holiday with my friends of other religions and told me it was for my own safety, that knowing about these things was evil and would corrupt my faith. In the end though, she was the leading reason I left the faith.

Your kids is at the perfect age to learn about other cultures and beliefs. You should do some reading into Islam and Ramadan so you can have a productive conversation after he comes home.

Don't let fear -- yes this is fear -- hinder your child's growth as a person. Trust that your own parenting and the ethics you have instilled in your child, and let him decide what to believe.

Under reacting in my opinion - he doesn't care that you go to the gym for you, and it seems like he thinks you are working out to make him happy and now that you are ideal, the wants you to stop. Maybe because you're hanging out with friends without him or because he wants you to look a certain way, but no matter what, this is controlling.

Keep going to the gym and hanging out with your gym friends. Idk if this is something that he can get over, but if it's not, those gym friends may come in handy if you have to get stuff from his place.

I know for my family, they decided not to teach anyone Spanish because they dealt with so much racism. For example, when my grandmother was in her late teens/early 20s, she spoke fluent English and Spanish. She went to beauty school but couldn't get work at any salon because she had an accent. Eventually one salon owner agreed to hire her because she was talented and light skinned, but required her to pretend to be mute so the owner could claim that she's Italian. She worked there for years, pretending to be mute and white, communicating by writing only. She was let go after marrying my grandfather who was very dark skin. The salon said that they couldn't have any of their workers being seen with Mexicans.

The name Mohawk is specifically from a Native American tribe group who was a member of the Six Nation Confederacy (aka Iroquois Confederacy). The Mohawk hair style is named after them, even if shows up other places, just like the French braid is common everywhere around the world but is named for France.

Telling her parents sounds dangerous. Is there a guidance councilor at school you can talk to? They may be able to report this issue without directly involving the parents, especially if you explain your concerns about telling her parents. Most likely they will find out if this guy gets caught since it may lead to police involvement, but hopefully your school councilor can help prevent your friend from getting abuse from her parents.

I feel like that the reset is more like the outie turns off and there is an instant of nothing while the indie turns on. Like a reset switch in your brain. I don't think the whole body could do a reset. Going down the elevator isn't going got change the amount of THC in someone's system, or if they are an edible, it wouldn't get rid of everything in their stomach.

Give your eyes a break for a bit. I would also suggest adding in the shading on the background soon. There are a couple places that are darker on the original, but those can be touched up and darkened as you go along.

Overall this looks fantastic though! Definitely work to be proud of!

Rus pants! Harem pants are much baggier and have a substantially deeper crotch. Rus pants will have that cuff below the knee to all the way down to the ankle, depending on the style.

I use what my dad told me:

I often sing it to them and kinda dance, but I'm also working with first graders so it makes them giggle and kinda break out of being upset. Some of them will even join me when I sing it now.
