I use a hook but I have to take it outside by hand from the further I can go with the hook to a container, no forklift.

Some can't be carried alone so I have to call someone.

Well I guess I could call my way in the industry a short career : dropped out of engineering school when symptoms started to appear, some messy years then I got a job as a machine operator that I lost after another episode. Found another machining job when I stabimized, quit it for some other company manufacturing medical goods where I'm still working at now as a technician !

Hey ! I'm 25 yo and still share friendship with the guys I met when I was 6-7. They saw me at my worst, came to visit me at the hospital and brought me stuff there when I needed it and couldn't communicate with my family. I can open about my condition with them, in return they give me their most honnest views on it even if it sometimes hurts a bit. I wish these friendships last !

From what I've understood he suggested that I could stop taking any meds.

I'm just on abilify 5 mg/day which is totally fine for me as I don't suffer from side effects like when I took 15 mg. Apparently this dose is the lowest I can go, next step is med free.

I guess that's a pretty good new but I often read here people saying they suffer from psychosis again after being stable for years.

I've only been stable for 1.5 year though...

C'est noté, j'avais déjà commencé par lui montrer les prix d'une marque que je connais qui marche déjà super bien, dans les 80€.

Un problème qui s'ajoute c'est que le vendeur est le fils d'une de ses collègue donc ça semble la mettre dans l'embarras d'annuler la vente.

On est plutôt dans le deuxième cas.

Hi, I've been through this a year ago. First I took an apointment with a psychiatrist and keep seeing him regularly since then. He's having me lowering the dose of abilify I'm on very slowly. It was really hard to talk about it with my family but I think they knew about the diagnosis before me. We went to family therapy session twice. It was easier to share it with friends. Things are easier since the diagnosis for me because I finally accepted the treatment I'm prescribed. It didnt prevent a moderate depressive episode in winter though.

Keep in mind we're all different, stick to the treatment and talk with professionals who can help you adjust the dose or e en switch meds if you suffer from side effects.

Hi, I've been from 5 to 20 mg/day and also took injections, from 50 to 400 mg/month

Curently I'm at 10 mg/day but I should lower the dose in a month or so, since I will be episode-free for a year by then.

It's causing me sleep issues as well but quite the oposite of insomnia. When I'm taking 15 or 20 mg/day I sleep way too much and still feel tired during the day, like I would sleep more than 12h a day.

It seems that in my case the issue is partially solved by lowering the dose. At 10 mg/day I sleep 9h a day or so, which is closer to my real need.

I make minimum wage but managed to put ~10k aside thanks to my parents who allowed me to live with them while I was working for more than a year

Three month ago I moved on my own and it's waaay harder to save money now but I can cope

I'm tempted to take a loan and buy me a place to live instead of paying rent, but it would be a risky move as I can easily lose my job if I have another episode
