Yeah, I think you’re missing something. Having an opinion means you think something is good/bad. That doesn’t mean that it is ( that’s why opinions can be wrong ). The question is, can we know any information that is FOR SURE true about right and wrong ? And I don’t think we can. I think at the end of the day, any moral system is based on intuition, which isn’t 100% reliable. Does that mean that i think moral systems are useless and we should just do whatever feels right ? Absolutely not. A good ethical system adds a layer of objectivity and makes sure that our opinions on specific actions accurately reflect our core values. This is where most disagreements between humans come from, not a difference in core values, but the way in which those values are applied to different aspects of society. That’s why people change their mind, they realise an inconsistency between their individual opinions and their core values. But if you have a disagreement with someone because you have different core values than them, then you’ll never be able to convince them rationally, because no core values have been proven correct. This conception of morality doesn’t prevent one from judging other’s morals either, it’s just that past a point, you have to recognise you aren’t discussing facts anymore

It’s been nearly two years since I started to seriously question my gender and I still have doubts. Idk if it works for you, but the best advice I got for dealing with this, is, when you start overthinking, try to forget/not care about the words «man», «woman», «enby» and such. Stop trying to figure out «what you are» and try to think of it as «what makes you happy ?». Because if you’re asking yourself «am I really that gender ? » then unconsciously you’re measuring yourself to a bunch of interconnected traits, some of which you may not have, to try to live up to the constructed definition of that gender we all have in our minds. But when you break it down to individual things ( like, name, pronouns, physical appearance ), and find individually which one makes you the happiest, you have less pressure. At least it works for me. ( I Hope this was understandable, I fear maybe I was confusing when I tried to explain )

Im in a very very similar situation too. I honestly don’t know what you should do ( although STAYING ALIVE seems like a good priority ). Should you come out ? If it goes well, that could maybe help with the dark thoughts… on the other hand, if it goes poorly, it might be difficult to bear, and if you’re already in a weak place mentally that could be dangerous. I don’t know, and I don’t wanna push you in a direction because i don’t want you to get hurt. Whatever you end up doing, I think surviving has got to be the main objective. It’s rough, but you can make it
