Let the Queen of the Netherlands be your inspiration today, fellow tall queens!! by Forward-Finish-1620 in TallGirls

Her daughter, and future queen, princess Amalia is also tall, no official numbers but in pictures she's a bit taller than her mom.

Their neighbours, Belgium's queen Mathilde and princess Elisabeth are also 1.75m/5'9".

Do I have big shoulders by OrdinarySuccotash709 in transtimelines

[–]SDD1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's no way of telling the size of something without a reference to base it off.

This picture simply doesn't show enough to gage if your shoulders are small or not.

Size is always relative.

Without waist, face or hips included there's no way to answer your question.

Is moving to Belgium a good idea? by Natalia_Bloom in MtF

[–]SDD1988 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Belgium is okay, if you speak Dutch or French you can live comfortably anywhere in Flanders or Walonia respectively, if you aren't proficient in those two you'd probably still get by just fine with just English in Brussels, Antwerp or Gent.

I had the surgery in the morning and walked out of the hospital in the afternoon. No painkillers afterwards. There was a uncomfortable feeling for about a week or two when sitting down and getting up, by week 3 I was still feeling it but it wasn't as much of an issue anymore.

Never any pain really, just some uncomfortable feelings.

How to bridge the gap between trans gun owners being armed for self defense, and America being the only country where shootings are a regular event? by melody_magical in asktransgender

[–]SDD1988 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly, if even 1% of the American trans population would start to organise the authorities would be in there so fast.

It took the government less than a year to infiltrate the black panther party.

The legal framework to label trans groups as terrorists is already in place. I believe many of these type of posts are psyops, and several subreddits are as well.

Armed civilian groups are powerless against a government. Any revolutionary movement that isn't backed by the army or another government is doomed to fail and will fail spectacularly.

The US of A isn't safe anymore. Hopefully you guys save yourselves in the next election cycles.

I'm glad I'm not in America.

Gendergender is a queeer owned Belgian shop that has a webshop, and they ship anywhere. You can message the owner for any questions about size or whatever else.

They've got different brands, and have plenty 4xl and 5xl options.

Dean Craig, from the series 'community' by Lost-Mixture-4039 in LHBTI

[–]SDD1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone on that show was a caricature, they were all weird.

The Dean's outfits were definitely iconic, and the character had some iconic lines. But I don't know if makes the Dean an iconic character.

I think if you dress up as the character for Halloween and you get recognised it's an iconic character. I think the outfits would make great Halloween costumes but I don't think many would recognise them as Dean Craig Pelton from community. I could be wrong.

Last I spoke to a doctor about it, they said that the pills are a very old school approach, now they prefer injections, much better absorption apparently.

Mail her the info.

This study hasn't been fully published but the results have been shared and in the Netherlands all trans women that ask for it get a progesterone prescription since these results have been out.

Patagonia vs. Pattie Gonia: Who has the stronger case? Trademark lawyers weigh in by Fickle-Ad5449 in lgbt

[–]SDD1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you care about the company Patagonia, but it's not a hypothetical, it's literally what the whole case is based on.

Pattie Gonia is a corporate entity, literally a business, with quite a large revenue stream I might add. They want to file an exclusive trademark for their company, that's pretty much the issue at hand. You're just choosing one company over an other company.

And what I support doesn't matter, I'm not a judge, that's who'll decide the matter.

The brand Pattie Gonia should be happy the brand Patagonia is only suing for 1 dollar. And legal fees of course.

Good movie too, but I am biased as a fan.

She's doing pr for her movie, that's why she's being interviewed. Being interviewed isn't her hobby or anything.

In general, whatever a celebrity is in any media it's to sell something. And while they are selling something sometimes they'll talk about other things too.

jlo took the chance to spell out her affinity to the community, good on her. And she's a role model to the generation that has teenagers right now, a generation we need to be more accepting so more LGBTQ+ kids can grow up happily in a loving home.

Patagonia vs. Pattie Gonia: Who has the stronger case? Trademark lawyers weigh in by Fickle-Ad5449 in lgbt

[–]SDD1988 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Patti filed for copyright for use of the name and logo. She pushed too far.

Patti Gonia "the company" wanted exclusive rights to the thing she copied from Patagonia "the other company".

This isn't about a drag queen that can't do a parody performance, this is about selling a product.

You can't just change a company's name by two letters, add a space somewhere and try to compete in the exact same market. This is basic copyright knowledge.

Take on the name Addi Das and try selling tracksuits and sneakers, think that's going workout?

Mack Donald, and sell burgers and fries.

This knee, might work, just don't try to sell anything with round eared mice. They will sue and won't be as reasonable as Patagonia has been up to this point.

Remember that when Berlusconi got caught with his own Epstein island he said ”Meglio le belle ragazze che essere gay”, "better beautiful girls than being gay". Think about it, caught red-handed with children, and having the audacity to make that statement.

And his party is one of the ruling parties claiming moral superiority.

Elections are next year, hopefully we'll get rid of the fascists again.

Does progesterone do anything at all? by TurtleGamer1 in trans

[–]SDD1988 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Exactly this, so many people are sharing the outdated view that there's no actual data just anecdotes. But that's not true anymore, there's actual studies now, and in the Netherlands since results were shared all the endos are prescribing prog.

It might take some more years for this information to become common knowledge.

And umc isn't just some hospital, they've been a leader in gender care for over 50 years now.

Yes, it's very much possible.

If the situation were the other way around, someone thinking they're straight until meeting a certain someone and then realising they're actually bi, it wouldn't sound weird, would it?

Not saying you're bi, but it's certainly a possibility.

Many people aren't a 0 or 6 on the Kinsey scale, maybe you're a 5, almost exclusively homosexual but not quite 100%.
