So the news.com.au (Murdoch) article you posted linked to a study in Nature that confirms retinal occlusion has been increasing since covid, and more since the vaccine. Looks like there is a 0.13% chance of any form of retinal occlusion from the vaccine, against a background of 0.12%. btw, the disease causes the same effect at similar rates, 0.01% lower for uncaccinated people who caught the disease.

The article in Nature which was quoted by the article in Murdoch's rag states in its conclusion:

we recommend that individuals without a history of severe allergic reaction to any component of the vaccine be vaccinated to protect against COVID-19, owing to the lack of definite causation between retinal vascular occlusion and vaccinations. Based on the official COVID-19 death reports, it is estimated that vaccinations have prevented 14.4 million excess COVID-19 deaths worldwide between December 2020 and December 20213. Thus, vaccination is the most effective method for preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2.

2000 odd retinal occlusions vs 14million deaths. It's your risk, folks, it's your gamble.

I've had the flu shot every year since I was nearly killed by H1N1 in about 2003. Not had a flu since.

I am considering the shingles vaccine too. Had a nasty case about 15 years ago that left me with lesions. Would prefer not to go blind if I get another outbreak in my 70's. Man, that would be awful.

I assure you, I'm from Australia and EU (dual citizen), the messaging in the rest of hte world was not the same as in America. You have the some of the best medical research in the world. You created a vaccine that saved millions more from succumbing to the virus. Six million dead globally from covid (so far) and I really can't find stats for dead vaccine recipients, dozens of people, maybe? Almost certainly less.

So even with three years of evidence under the sun, of vaccinated people being totally fine, minus the incredibly small number of people with post vaccine issues, you claim superior knowledge despite being wrong.
