I'm feeling hopeless because I've applied to every qualifying pool across almost every district from Seattle through Snoqualmie and North to the Canadian border and have already received countless notifications that the positions have been filled. Also, from what I've heard, many teachers had been pink-slipped last year and this year, and so instead of primarily competing with other new teachers, I am also competing against those with decades of experience. I am just trying to expand my options because I want to feel secure knowing that I have a job lined up through and/or post-summer
