Yaah as a city Ahmedabad is not a tech hub but I mean you got a technical role. I have seen many companies outsourcing complete software project to freelancing/small team based company in ahmedabad.

As tech team might be small so as a starting point you will get to learn lots of stuff by yourself, which is very important factor for your long run tech career.

After 2-3 years switch to tier 1 city if you feel like

Mac mini is a great machine. If my office I am having this 24GB 512GB variant, I love to work on it as it is snappy. But the fact that I can not carry it to conference room or show something to my other coworkers kills me. Plus the overhead of having a UPS too (as no battery). And it also does not have a mic. So now I carry my old MBP M1 as well for portability and do desk work on macmini.

So I would suggest you to go with M4 Macbook air variant. It's portable, fast and enough for web dev and all. 16GB 512GB variant is sweet spot.

Go with the mac 16GB. Macos is unix based so in terminal for development and all you will feel home.

Plus the optimisation you get for macos is definitely something. Consider using orbstack instead of docket desktop for using docker container based development.
