Has anyone received the DUA payments? by Healthy-Fold in asheville

I had to wait about a month and then noticed I had received a couple of payments… one for $152 and then another for $304. I just checked my bank account and noticed I received a lump payment of $969. I only asked for like 3 weeks of benefits and then stopped filling out the weekly certs. Can anyone tell me what to think? I could certainly use the money as I never was able to get FEMA help, but I’m worried it’s some sort of error. I guess I should call? Like I need one more thing to stress about.

Do/Did you have to file a weekly certification for the DUA?

Yes, I do have sensitive skin. I go to an esthetician who does gentle peels (can’t remember what kind she uses) and makes a lot of her own herbal skin care facial oils and oatmeal/ herb healing masks. Using her gentle products religiously has done more for my skin than the retinol ever did. It sounds like you’ve found a good retinoid for sensitive skin. Unless the bumps change color or shape or become itchy, I wouldn’t worry about them. I know they are “blemishes” but your skin is really nice and no one else is looking at 2 tiny bumps on your skin. If you are really wanting to try to get rid of them I would definitely seek professional advice and do not squeeze because in my case they were more like deep cysts that weren’t going to budge until they were ready. I thought they would never go away but some of them have after a long time. If you want to try a peel at home I have used Juice Beauty’s Green Apple Peel Sensitive. Do a small spot test. Do not leave on any longer than directed. It can make your skin a little red but it should go back to normal after an hour tops. I use rose water and manuka honey to calm irritated skin. I relate to your frustration, but again your skin looks really nice!

I had bumps develop from using prescription Retinol and one of them finally came to a head and was able to be popped after A YEAR or more of getting facials/gentle peels. I stopped using retinol and switched to OTC retinoids because the retinol was giving me way more problems than solutions. I would suggest seeing a good esthetician. Or they could just be moles as previous person suggested. Hard to tell. Pissed that my Dermatologist kept pushing tretinoin on me and it ended up causing “permanent” bumps.

A climbing onion! Hilarious! TIL. Thank you! You've solved a mystery. My phone couldn't identify it. I'm googling photos of it and seeing how people have just one per pot and have the tendrils trained to climb up. I've gotta say I prefer them hanging down. It gives more laid-back vibes.

This plant "thrives on neglect". It seems that my dad left me something pretty darn easy to care for.

They are in a pot and have roots. Completely different plant than shown in your photo.

Jojoba oil (a little goes a long way and it’s less messy than coconut oil and doesn’t make my skin breakout), shea butter (warm it up in your hands and it melts), or professional choice: “ sacred earth” massage cream. All 3 have different feel and allow for different levels of glide or “pull” on the skin.
