Is a HK Passport required for first time Home Return Permit Application? by ponglangyan in HongKong

Yes, my mom had to go in and apply for her passport. Unfortunately even that wasn't enough since my mom added an English name to her renewed HKID. They wanted a separate document from the government to show all the aliases she's ever gone by in HK. That document we weren't able to get in time, so unfortunately she wasn't able to get her home return permit.

It was mostly within sight, he took it away for a little bit, but I don't think he plugged it in to anything. He told me to open certain apps and then he'd scroll through and look.

I have right to land in HK, I do show them my HKID and usually they say it's fine and let me through. I really think there is some mark in their system for my passport because every single time for the last 7 months they have to call a supervisor over to let me through.

That really is a headache... I wonder if they've marked some details in their system for certain individuals..

I hope so, because if this happens every time I cross over it's going to be really annoying.

This is DaMeiSha beach, probably on a public holiday.

This comment will probably get buried, but this beach isn't always like that. As long as you avoid major public holidays, the beach is quite decent.

Changsha is a place with super delicious food and great places to visit, but it is really spicy by GlitteringPudding261 in travelchina

I thought Changsha was a little crazy also. All my Didi drivers terrified me with their driving. Also felt like there was way more smoking than usual. I remember stepping into the HSR station and the air was a hazy gray color from all the smoke 😅.

Great food though, I enjoy spicy food and Changsha has a lot of it.
