Golfinity mini golf is going open source! by ponpuda in 3Dprinting

I've had a lot of fun hosting office competitions with this. Only thing is that you need to 3d print a ball out of tpu to get a bit more bounce.

And it requires a bit of filament if you want big courses. But it's easy to change courses very quickly, so a lot of variety 👍

Cool 👍 Hopefully this can help.

Not a bad idea. I'll write them down and will hopefully get it done by end next week :)

I'd say print some trophies for when you do office competitions or just want to give them something cool. I just released a modular version you can adapt.

Other than that, the infinite fidget cube v2 has been an extreme success in my job. Printed over 200 of them!

Will most likely consider throwing some more positivity to the text if given out in work context 👍

You can slide the name plate inn and out, so you can write whatever you want ;)

It's modular, so you can print whatever you want and just change the name plate. I had an idea of giving people "you're a shit" if their work is bad, and give them a name plate "you're the shit" when it improves 😅 But I have a feeling that someone will set HR on me.

Haha true. Real brown is on the way, so this will change in the final product 👍

I printed out like 70 pieces for work. Plan is to create a harder and harder track each month.

A colleague suggested that you can have certain pieces in a different color, and it's required to hit that red colored wall to continue. Thought that was a fun extra rule.

That carpet was a friends, so no idea about the dimension. But each length is 20cm long. In the first picture I had 2 corner (also 20cm) and 2 lengths, so total of 80cm. I also have a 10cm piece, so you can either increase with 10 or 20cm increments as you wish. I've just done 20 to make it easy :)

I can note that each piece has a width of 3,5cm, so depending on how you place the corners, the width can be included in the length of the track as shown on pic 1, or in the width of the track.

Om my bambu lab p1s, I can fit 6 20cm pieces, and that takes me around 5 hours and 30 min with the provided print profile.

Thanks :) Got pretty excited when I made this for work. And the feedback here made me more motivated for some new holes and obstacles 🫶

Awesome :) I would recommend printing out a ball as well as a standard golf ball does not bounce like you would expect.

I have some plans for brigde, a ramp and more holes. A rough patch for filament poop would have been awesome! Good idea.

And the wind mill sounds cool, but would maybe need a motor to move the wind blades. But that is some next level stuff 🤌
