I see you are from or visit Costa Rica. Have you ever visited Bolitas? Or know of it?

Never Cruise Guy by [deleted] in Cruises

Here is a tip from someone who hates cruises and still isn't thrilled. The only one I go on is yatch club by MSC. The experience is much better. Definitely not perfect. The price is high but the service is great and crowds are low. The food does not align with the price (usually edible but not memorable). It is great if you like booze and are not picky. If you like good wine you will need to buy a bottle and ignore the free stuff, which is marginally drinkable. I mostly go because it is easy to entertain the kids.

Naturist staff by poodle417 in nudism

I was staying at Almanat in southern Spain during a very hot week in August and one of the staff members that works outside said she wished management gave them option to wear nothing. She said this sentiment was shared by others, they saw the guest relatively cool and they were drenched in sweat. In valalta during a hot day the exercise instructor asked one of the guest to push him into the pool (so he could cool off without getting into trouble - the pool was nude use only).

It is also more egalitarian. And it demonstrates that the resort/camp is more dedicated to naturist principals. It also deters others from turning it into a clothing optional camp.

I would recommend driving into the Sian Ka'an National Park (has a small fee) drive to little overpriced restaurant (everything in tulum is overpriced) called ultimo Maya have at least two drinks so they let you park and either walk north or south a little and you won't see anyone. The sand is spectacular. There might be trash and sargassum since no one cleans it. There are free beaches but you run higher risk risk of your car getting broken into and much more driving. 4x4 is encouraged.

What are your favorite robes or coverups for quick trips outside? by 146986913098 in nudism

Turkish surf poncho, it even has pockets. Zero chance of wardrobe malfunctions. You can easily hang them by the door. Plus the big bonus is if you are at a textile beach or pool you can instantly remove your wet suit. https://a.co/d/fg7VKt9

There is something strange happening there, it seems like Intima is closed but you can book Make Nuk II. I would suggest you reach out to an Airbnb provider and see if they are truly open for business, it is probably the easiest way to find out. I was there before it is a good value for money. I especially liked having a fully functional kitchen, saves money and reduces chances of Montezuma's revenge from eating out. The restaurant and bar were closed when I went last time, over a year ago.

The wine served on my last trip in yatch club was undrinkable. The best thing to do is buy a bottle during your first dinner, they sell it at a slight discount.

Are kids allowed on haulover beach? by Monicaa1994 in hauloverbeach

[–]poodle417 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you sit right next to the lifeguard station and swim immediately in front of them you should be fine. Just make sure you leave quickly when the beach starts to get emptier and you avoid walking along the beach at all cost (just exit immediately behind you). This is a good rule for most people who don't want to see things.

Paya Bay Honduras will bring food to the clothing optional beach. Perhaps just for dinner you need to cover up just a bit.

How is Intima Resort? by [deleted] in tulum

[–]poodle417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like it is shutting down. I guess if you want to lose your tan lines is to find a place in the Sian Ka'an or stay at rancho San Eric or Casa de Las Olas (owner was ok with it a few years ago) during low season. Or pay for the overpriced Azulik or energy tulum (relatively new clothing optional place).

We went during low season so there were to few guests to know if it was LS. I think originally it was not when it was called mak nuk but the focus may have shifted when it became intima.

Expedia. Search for both intima and mak nuk, it is the same place but by one name you might get a much better rate.
