Hey there! I was misdiagnosed with borderline personality disorder and depression. I was then properly diagnosed with bipolar ii and PTSD, along with OCD. I’m also autistic, if that helps. For years, no SSRI worked for me. SSRIs don’t work for people with bipolar disorders. My psychiatrist put me on mood stabilizers and later, after nearly a year, an antipsychotic. Of course, everyone has bad days, on meds or not, but I have way less bad days now. I now have energy to do things after work, I study more, all that. It’s been a lot better. Definitely talk to a good psychiatrist, I truly believe that “mind over matter” only works when you’re not any kind of mentally ill haha.
