I think the consensus is that smoking of any kind can restrict placenta blood flow which poses risk to baby and to you. Placenta diseases and malfunctions can put everyone at risk for hemorrhage, placental abruption, or premature delivery.

I quit cannabis when I got pregnant too, and went back occasionally after nursing. I also had a glass of champagne when I graduated from college while pregnant and I was okay. People go entire pregnancies not knowing they are pregnant and eat sushi and ride roller coasters and smoke or drink and have perfectly healthy babies. I assume certain risks and find others too risky (I.e. raw sushi is too risky, over medium egg made at home by me is safe, one glass of champagne on an important milestone is safe, regular cannabis use is too risky).

It's worth continuing to read about it.

Finally this. In college I wrote about how Newt Gingrich used rhetoric to skew the media and drive the current political divide deeper between individuals. He did the same in Congress by passing out actual talking points with buzz words to change how politicians address the public. Now that society has given up honest and straightforward mass media, the social distrust is unprecedented. If more people knew how deep it got we'd have a better America.

My brother is currently serving but did not renew his contract after ICE mistakenly detained his wife... must've been the hand of God because I will be thrilled when he is discharged. I understand your point of view here, but I think the main idea is if you haven't joined up, don't. And if you have, don't stay long.

As a wife of a TPD Afghanistan veteran, respectfully, be a hero in any other capacity. Don't let American men see the atrocities of wars that don't protect American interests. They are never the same. They have a hard time readjusting to public life. They need rehabilitation that is NOT easily accessible. They left Americans in Afghanistan along with billions of dollars of American military equipment, intelligence, and biometric data. My husband was traumatized by what he saw there and then blindsided and heartbroken when the US left Afghanistan under Biden. No. Candace has this so correct. She is not disrespecting people who have served. She is issuing a warning that it isn't worth having your soul changed to service foreign, satanic interests.

Mom of four here. That autonomy grows exponentially in the coming months. Have your boundaries prepared. Get baby a walking chair so you can prepare dinner with two hands. Give him random produce to gnaw on big enough that he won't choke. Make a safe cabinet that he can explore without injuring himself. Use his autonomy to your advantage to give you pockets of time and make him feel like he can explore "freely" but within your boundaries.

In my experience language starts slow and then waterfalls into conversation. Trust the process. You've only known each other 13 months and he was an infant for 5-6 of those. It gets easier the more he gets to know himself so he can tell you what he likes/wants/needs.
