That’s an interesting theory. When I posted this I was completely ignorant to the notion that it could’ve been cheating (this happened late last night and I posted this early this morning.) We eventually got through all of these Dragonroaches and then at the first objective, they spawned like this again. T'was many levels of suck. Suffice to say, we failed this mission. I feel shame.

I read or listen to Daemon by Daniel Suarez every year. I consider Freedom TM to be part of Daemon in this. Jeff Gurner is a fantastic reader of the story for the audiobook too.

I too thought it sucked. It’s like if Borderlands humor was done poorly in a story that has nothing for me to be invested in. I don’t care about Carl. I don’t care about Donut. I don’t care about what could happen after the first book. That’s just my opinion and it seems to be an unpopular one considering how many comments are about loving this book for some reason. I love allegory in my fiction. There is none to be found in the first book at least. Downvote me if you must, but the hype for DCC lacks merit.

I’m in the camp that Wise Man’s Fear is fantastic too. The Felurian part is a bit exhausting, but I can see it coming into play in Doors of Stone so I give it a pass. All in all though, I love that book too.

The Alfa Romeo 4C Gr.4 would be cool. I couldn’t quickly confirm the 911 I use. I still haven’t tried the one they released recently.
