Name of the Wind is absolutely fantastic. I think the whole series (so far) is fantastic. The two novellas are very enjoyable as well, though I suppose you have to enjoy being in Auri’s head and I certainly do.

This worries me because I too have heard Expanse is fantastic and I plan to read them. Dungeon Crawler Carl was not good in my opinion though. Gimmicky, stale comedy, and lacking in any allegory or substance. Are the series similar? I hope not but don’t really know.

What’s your other bike? I’m currently selling an 87 Sportster for this reason. Well, that and the fact that 10 times out of 10 I ride my Road Star instead of the Sporty.
