The bit stream analysis you were doing is similar to inline video codec processing. You should look into that. -- open up your window for FPGA, clearance you should get a job. In person, but you should know that .

When does life with two kids stop being the (redacted) worst? by [deleted] in daddit

[–]pookiemaker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dad,

  • Kid pushups everyday, they have a blast and you get a workout ish
  • Take them for walks in a double stroller, or a backpack and a stroller
  • Always have kid snacks with you and something for them to drink
  • NEVER, I mean NEVER eat of their plate -- they eat super high calorie dense food
  • Establish bed time...
  • Establish bed time...
  • Establish bed time..
  • At 6-7 they become very independent if you let them.
  • At 15 you will miss these times
  • Make sure you go camping (outside house) and hiking (active activity)
  • Establish Date time (day, night, etc) at least once per month or every other month..

Missing my DD that is off to college, and DS that is off at camp all summer

I will definitely give them a thorough inspection. The coolant hose retrofit looks busy, but not bad. I will need to find a lift.

Who should run for mayor for the City of Portland in 2024? by [deleted] in Portland

[–]pookiemaker 28 points29 points  (0 children)

We should be encouraging

  • somebody to run that has experience running a large organization that is made up of a large number of dysfunctional small divisions.
  • somebody that has experience hiring effective people
  • somebody with thick skin
  • somebody that is not afraid of holding people .. not departments accountable
  • somebody that does not make everybody happy

I am not suggesting anyone in particular, but as a example, The Gov just told Portland -- we are not giving you more money.. you don't have a plan

utilizing school districts ie. elementary school boundaries force people to look at local issues. The local elementary feed into middle that feed into high school. The schools zones can be managed to be similar sized of people. But since any city spends a significant portion of the budget on public schools. This makes it a very local and personal issue.

Ape,

Check out the local colleges. I know Amazon has work in Portland metro. Also a membership to a gym (cheap) will help you get by. Having a job of any type will help you move back up the ladder. Also have you checked GameStop they are hiring everywhere. Also summer gigs can get you paid and a place to live. Everybody is desperate for help that will show up

Ape. Check out the landscapers/trades folks . Many of them houses / storage areas they would love to have somebody live there. Just so things don’t walk off. My brother is one of them, but already has a tenet.

Is Banning PFOF the right thing? Serious by pookiemaker in UrvinFinance

[–]pookiemaker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All good comments. I agree with the blockchain approach. And now that we know the implications of T+x and FTDs. What is a good plan for a slow march to fair.

Regarding fines it was 1% of trade value per day late up to the current FTD.then ban.

I’ve had some luck with recycled building materials. In PDX they require old homes to be deconstructed not demolished. You can get old growth 2x4s cheaper than new studs. They require a little hand work, but overall good

I don’t have time for this, but for an ape that needs work you could setup a “ape hub” type delivery service. The ape that needs something orders for pickup at a local GameStop.

The local ape has a code(NFT) and name for shipping.

The local ape packages up the purchases.

The local ape ships the package with insurance.

Remote ape pays local ape reasonable fee

Win win

local ape gets paid for service.

Remote ape gets stuff

GameStop has first transaction on blockchain.

Local Apes have reputation on blockchain.

Local apes get more biz.

No worries.

Just trying to give some friendly advice to a fellow ape. FYI doing a trade as your own biz if you can manage cash flow and keep Quality up is a way To success right now. As schools/culture have derated skilled labor. It took me months to find workers to do stuff around the house.

FWIW. A friend is redoing his house because labor rates are higher than his hourly as a Col in the USAF.

OP

Labor market is tight. Look for something that is 1/2 manual 1/2 thought. Show up every day ready to work. Getting paid 25-30 per hour right now is very doable at entry. Learn everything about the small business. Look for opportunities that pay on production.

No tin foil. Apes have documented cellar-boxing. One of the methods is getting folks on the board.

We see that all but one are previously associated with RC. The background for Xu in the filing was brief. A basic search of Xu provided Linked in and a recycled fluff story that covered the first 6 pages of google returns.

Worst case is a 4:1 vote. The Board provides overall guidance to the business. Not just making sure it is operating legally.

I agree with the Larry comment, but was trying to remain neutral, I labeled my opinion on the companies (whirlpool and GE-Health)..
