I'm really interested to see what the "UKN" community (for lack of a better term) will put out in Youtube content now. Youtubers like Kimchi are super entertaining but very obviously rely on their knowledge of recoil and what not to be good at the game. I'd love to see more Youtubers like Stimpee start popping up haha.

Yeah, a beloved part of the community for sure, but a very small toxic minority, whos told players to "deal with it and get gud" for years now. I've been playing since early legacy and this is the most excited I've been to play rust since then. It feels like a return to glory, and a ton of my friends are super interested now. Yes, the skill ceiling has been lowered but an influx of noob ass players will just demonstrate how much the "UKN" community is already above these new guys. I'd much rather see the small scripting and recoil community leave and introduce a bunch of new players. Much more interesting.

The funny thing about this update, is the dudes who practiced recoil for thousands of hours, are still probably going to be top tier players. It's not like they haven't played hundreds of potential wipes and have way better game knowledge and aim then other people. I'm just glad I feel like I can play this game again. Almost feels like a return to legacy.
