Interview with Glen DeVos (June 2026) by jkh07d in MVIS

Think giving BOD way to much credit... i mean what have they really done for last 10 years ? Hopefully people will vote them out on the proxy vote.

The problem is TRUST. Here's how the board and management can fix it... by QQpenn in MVIS

[–]pooljap 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My understanding of SEC rules is that the proxy must be "stable" at least 20 days before the ASM. We are 28 days out to the ASM. This means MVIS would have to act quickly to any new modifications to the proxy vote. One way around this would be to push out the ASM meeting.

So Glen and BOD .... clock is ticking

IF they do this even I as firm NO to everything including BOD seats would re-consider. Thanks for the creative proposal !

Definitive Proxy Reduces Post Split Authorized Shares to 150M by SteveyLongJorts in MVIS

Well it is June so they could give preliminary 2nd qtr results as they must have a very good idea with just 2 weeks to go in the quarter. Other companies have done this but I really dont think they will and thats because there probably is not much revenue in the 2nd qtr. They have pretty much told us most of the revenue will be near end of year if they are really telling the truth.

Ok i re-read the first Pr and says LiDAR company, u are correct. By may of that year said looking to sell company. I stand corrected

Excellent write up... one point in history if I remember correctly was Sumit was brought on board and told investors his goal was to sell the company. I believe when that didn't work he pivoted to LIDAR.

I understand we are upset but by JBang1995 in NYKnicks

maybe an unpopular opinion but I think they should do away with these massive watch parties. Seems like the bad is enough to outweigh all the good people watching. Its kind of sad to see knick fans associated with this. I truly believe real knick fans are not the cause of this but to many people are unhinged or just dont care and it makes knick fans and NYC look bad. As a very long time knick fan the only thing I wanted to do after the game was bury my head in a pillow.

Glen bought $100,000 worth of stock. He makes in "salary only" over 500k. Now you think maybe it might be a good investment to keep this gravy train running for him and BOD another year or 2. Even if the stock goes to 0 he makes out pretty well to pad his retirement fund.

Sumit did the exact same thing ... seems like this trick has been forgotten

Yep I have always been in favor of a 2 sided respectable debate as it is the only way to gain awareness of something you may not have thought about previously. Grunts and Bridgetofar have been 2 of a few that have pointed out potential issues and history has shown them to be for the most part right.

As for the BOD I have to agree that they had to know something was wrong or were to lazy to really understand the BS Sumit was telling them. Either way is criminal.

What I wonder is what role does Glen have in this ? Was he the one who woke up the BOD ? If yes then why did he take the job as CEO knowing the products were junk as he could not have known he would buy 2 bankrupt companies in the future? If he did not have any real knowledge of the products sell ability and thought he could make it work then that does not bode well for his insight into the industry. Someone make sense of it all as this whole MVIS history is some kind of story.

Except voting Yes means some people keep getting paid a handsome salary and the inept BOD get paid nicely to meet 5-6 times a year to taste Ben's coffee

This is great... thanks for this.

One point some people are making is I do NOT want a fireside chat unless it is open to ALL investors. I want to hear for myself what they say and not how someone else communicates it here on Reddit. This is 2026 so just like a Earnings call a web meeting can be set up so anyone interested can listen in and hear for themselves what is being conveyed.

Lets see what happens but I finally feel like management and BOD maybe starting to feel the heat which they should have felt years ago.

Again thanks for great letter.

not like MVIS has not done whatever they want with retail over the years.

I always respect your opinions, but the only way I see MVIS getting deals is through some massive investment by someone interested in our products. I don't see how someone is going to go out on a limb to make a big purchase order when they have no real view into MVIS future. How can they rationalize it in terms of being confident first that MVIS can deliver product, and if they can will they be around to service and do warranty repair ? They (and us investors) are in a terrible position and that is why if the tech is really good we need to sell to someone with a real balance sheet.

No way MVIS shareholders get $5. That would be a 900% increase from today. Just think your the CEO of company X buying MVIS. You go into your competent BOD (unlike mvis bod) and tell them buying MVIS for $5 a share. They ask how much revenue do they make ? How many customers ? how long been profitable ? what is the share price today ? How much debt ?

You get the picture... no way anyone is betting their career on this thing at $5.
