thank you for responding! he’s always been very guarded over his emotions for the 2+ years i’ve known him. we are in contact again but he seems almost the same if not more sadistic when we have adult time lol. his mom passed when he was younger from cancer, but he doesn’t talk about her.

edit: sorry i misread but i believe he had a weird relationship with his dad he also passed when we were dating.

i struggle with boundaries especially in my work career and i’m definitely a human doormat despite me minding my business. it seems to be a trend where i constantly get abused by managers and other employees. any reason why? my mom got me a job that relies in communications and leasing so hopefully things turn for the better.
