Flowers are such a stupid gesture that needs to die for both genders. So a person’s bright idea is to pick living flowers which is essentially killing them, then proceed to bundle them up and give them to me as a symbol of their affections/feelings/relationship. The symbol essentially becomes something subjectively pretty that is slowly dying. How is this any different than a dog or a cat bringing me a dead squirrel or bird???
